Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) (Outpatient clinic setting)
Overview:
Powell Valley Healthcare located in beautiful Northwestern Wyoming, located 70 miles from Yellowstone National Park surrounded by mountains, wildlife and outdoor recreation is currently seeking a full-time Certified Nurse Midwife Excellent pay, benefits, relocation, and sign-on bonus offered for the successful candidate.
Additional information related to position:
- Graduate from an accredited nurse-midwifery program with master’s degree or higher. Previous experience working as CNM in hospital-based clinic setting preferred.
- Pass the national Certified Nurse-Midwife Examination through the American Midwifery Certification Board (AMCB)
- Licensed in state of Wyoming, or willingness to obtain Wyoming license upon hire.
- Work in shared Midwifery practice including providing prenatal, family planning, gynecological, annual women’s well exams, newborn, and postpartum care, deliveries and participates in monthly on-call schedule in collaboration with Midwife.

- Compensation ranges dependent on experience.
- Support staff include one MA, Patient Registration/Schedule for patient check-in and setting up appointments. Collaborates with second FT CNM, OBGYN (one FT, and PT, and FP with OB)
- Only hospital in State of Wyoming designated as Baby Friendly. 160 deliveries annually, offering VBACS, water birth, alternative birthing options.
