Mission and purpose
The mission of the Foundation is to support Powell Valley Healthcare through Fundraising, Education and Advocacy.
The purpose of the corporation shall be to promote, encourage, and assist in the improvement and/or maintenance of the hospital, nursing home, and other health care facilities affiliated with Powell Valley Healthcare.
Leadership and guidance
Our Board of Directors is made up of individuals drawn from the local community and health organizations. With their leadership and guidance, the Powell Medical Foundation has successfully funded projects like; patient care equipment; enhancement of patient-related programs and services; construction and upgrading of facilities; and building an endowment to ensure, in perpetuity, that healthcare in our community meets the highest standards of care and service.
