Powell Valley Healthcare is aware of a statement error that occurred in late May involving facility branding only. Some statements may have included incorrect facility branding related to Pawnee Valley Community Hospital and Powell Valley Healthcare.
Please be assured that the correct patient received their own billing information. No patient information was shared with anyone other than the intended recipient, and this was not a HIPAA issue.
Our statement vendor has corrected the facility branding on invoices, and additional safeguards have been implemented to help prevent this from happening again.
