Revenue Cycle Support Specialist – This position can be filled as a part-time or full-time position. Responsible for supporting the Patient Financial Services & Registration departments by working collaboratively with the Patient Financial Counselor, Pre-certification & Authorization Clerk and Registration staff to serve as an advocate & support for patients and the financial aspect of their healthcare needs. Cross train in various patient financial services areas. Communicate with patients regarding their account balances. Communicate with insurance companies regarding payment status. Coverage for hospital switchboard. Strong customer service & communication skills required. Previous Business Office experience required, preferably in a healthcare setting. High School Grad./GED required.
