Volunteers that give of themselves and sacrifice personal time to help with health concerns of family, friends and neighbors is one of the greatest gifts. Powell Valley Healthcare Volunteer Services Our auxiliary is active in raising funds to support healthcare needs
within the various service settings, primarily, Powell Valley Hospital and
Powell Valley Care Center. Volunteers offer their assistance
for various activities and events. The group meets the third Friday
of each month at 1 pm.

Powell Valley Care Center Volunteers Nearly 100 volunteers assist at Powell Valley Care Center with activities, events, parties and companionship. Some of the opportunities for volunteering at Powell Valley Care Center include fixing hair, doing nails, reading to residents, writing letters for residents, sitting and visiting with residents and much more. Powell Valley Hospice Volunteers Valley Hospice employs the services of several hospice volunteers throughout the year. Sixteen hours of training is required to become a hospice volunteer.
