Meet our team:
William J. Jarvis, M.D.
Dr. Jarvis is board certified in both orthopedic surgery and sports medicine. He specializes in arthroscopy as well as knee and shoulder reconstruction. He has extensive experience serving as team physician for high schools and organized sporting events.
Dr. Jarvis completed his M.D. at Rush Medical College in Chicago, Illinois and his residency at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan. He served as chief resident in orthopedic trauma. Dr. Jarvis completed his sports medicine fellowship at the Cincinnati Sports Medicine and Orthopedic Center in Cincinnati, Ohio.
He has served as team physician for elite athletes including the Detroit Tigers and the U.S. Olympic Gymnastics team. Dr. Jarvis also served as Professor of Sports Medicine for the University of Wisconsin and Marquette University.
Dr. Jarvis is passionate about sports medicine and the safety and health of student athletes and recreational athletes alike. His clinic provides comprehensive sports medicine care including a free sports injury clinic, free ImPACT testing for concussion management and athletic trainer services.
Greg Clark, PA-C
Greg has worked in orthopedics for over 17 years. He is a Big Horn Basin native, was born in Powell and grew up in Lovell. His wife, Lonnie, is from Cody. Greg is fluent in Spanish.
Greg worked with Absaroka Orthopedics in Powell and Cody for the past nine years and prior to that he worked at Big Horn Basin Orthopaedic Clinic in Cody.
Greg completed his Master of Physician Assistant Studies, with honors, at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, Nebraska. He received his Bachelor of Science in Physician Assistant Studied, with honors, from Rocky Mountain College as well as a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Wyoming.
Tonya Olson, RN
Tonya describes herself as a lifelong member of the Powell community. She has worked as a med/surg ward clerk, a dental assistant and an account representative over the past twelve years prior to her nursing training. She has worked ad a registered nurse for two years, which is her passion.
Tonya is a Powell High School and Northwest College alumnus. She holds Associate's degrees in both Allied Health and Nursing. She has worked in family practice and orthopedics and has special training in casting, splinting, and wound care. She also enjoys working with pediatric patients.
Tonya loves spending time with her husband and their three boys, and she enjoys traveling to see the sights of the world.
Nicole Gear, RRT
Nicole moved to Powell from Sidney, Montana where she was born and raised. She has worked in health care for 16 years. Nicole started at Sidney Health Center as an outpatient coordinator before starting radiology school. She continued her x-ray training at Sidney Health Center and also worked as a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) before she transitioned to a staff technician position in the Imaging Department.
Nicole also worked in Waterford City, North Dakota as a staff technician in the Imaging Department where she specialized in mammography, CT Scan, and trauma imaging. Before moving to Powell, Nicole worked at a clinic in Williston, North Dakota specializing in mammography, bone densitometry, general x-ray and orthopedic imaging.
Nicole holds an Associate of Applied Science degree from Weber State University, Ogden, Utah. She enjoys watching all sports, especially when her kids are participating. She is an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan, she enjoys spending time with her family and their three dogs, and traveling - even if it's just a day trip to the mountains or somewhere to shop. Nicole has three children - two daughters and one son, as well as four step-children and three step-grandchildren.

Dax Mitchell, ATC
Dax comes to Powell from Utah, where he completed his Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training as well as his Bachelor of Science in Physical Education at Weber State University in Ogden, Utah.
He has a broad base of experience working in high school, college, and club athletic programs as well as physical therapy.
Dax serves as Powell High School’s athletic trainer.
Cammie Brost, ATC
Cammie is a Certified Athletic Trainer. She worked the past five years with Northwest College before joining PVHC Sports Medicine. Cammie grew up in Deaver, Wyoming. When she's not on the sidelines or helping out in the gym, Cammie enjoys spending time with her family.
